BRAD CURRIE
Born and raised in Beaudesert, Brad is the Vice Chair and General Manager of Mununjali Housing. Mununjali are involved in many projects including providing long term housing for their members in the Beaudesert and Logan City areas, youth support programs, aged care, well-being, early Intervention programs and much more.
A member of the GOLDOC Indigenous Working Group during the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, Brad is a strong advocate for supporting the realisation of tangible employment and procurement outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Brad is the Treasurer of YRACA, a former RTA Queensland Director, current SEQ Indigenous Housing Chairman and Justice of the Peace qualified. Brad is committed to upholding exemplary corporate governance practices, holding positions on the CDEP Board and various other Boards with the aim of providing strong foundations to Business and Community organisational practices.
Brad has ambitions for YRACA to be a collective voice for the community and an entity which can assist, at a local and Government level, to support the realisation of positive outcomes for Yugambeh Traditional Custodians where barriers may exist.
Brad enjoys music, Rugby League and spending quality time with his family and friends.
