EMERALD BREWER

Emerald is a proud Kombumerri-Noonuccal Traditional Custodian of the Gold Coast and North Stradbroke Island, and is the youngest grandchild of Dr Graham Dillon (OAM) and Marilyn Dillon. A dedicated mother of four children aged between 6 and 16, Emerald currently lives on Country on the Gold Coast with her young family.


Emerald holds an undergraduate degree with a major in Psychology and is currently completing a Master of Teaching (Secondary), with the long-term goal of becoming a Guidance Counsellor. Emerald brings a strong background in community services, having worked across both child safety and youth justice, and is currently employed at a community agency. Emerald is deeply passionate about connecting with and educating others on Aboriginal history, culture, and community. She is committed to using her knowledge and experience to support vulnerable children, young people, and families, and to foster greater understanding and empowerment within both Indigenous and broader communities.
